Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced International Sales Manager to oversee our company's export operations and drive growth in international markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of global trade regulations. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and leading a team of sales professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for expanding the company's export portfolio.
- Identify potential markets and explore new opportunities for business growth.
- Research and analyze market conditions, competitor activities, and customer preferences to optimize sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any customer concerns.
- Stay updated with international trade policies, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track performance and provide insights for decision-making.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an International Sales Manager or similar role, specifically in export sales.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Proactive attitude with a result-oriented mindset.
- Experience supervising and developing sales teams.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
